| Night Shining Brightly |
05:23 |
This is really just a "test loop" to try out some new software. It got going, though, and was working up into a pretty good track... | Mama, the Little One Hurts / Phanuel |
06:22 |
Two songs in one track: "Mama, the Little One Hurts" is named after the last words spoken by Kamala, a girl raised by wolves who died of typhoid in 1929 in an orphanage in Northern India. "Phanuel" is a retelling of a dream I had. |

"Silence Speaks Softly" is made up of sounds culled from seemingly dead air on the shortwave bands. |

"Excess Cycle" started life as the sound of a harddrive dying in a manner the tech gurus call an excess cycle. |
